Our office is run by Office Manager, Victoria Ater. The office is a busy place with teachers, staff, students, and parents in and out at any given moment, but we're always here to help you.
Absences/Late Arrivals
Parents MUST call the attendance line (805) 494-0324 and leave a recorded message if your child will be late that day, or home for some reason. A phone log is kept of parents’ messages for our attendance records. Please do not call the main office number to report an absence.
Visitors & Volunteers
All visitors and volunteers during school hours MUST sign in at the office before entering the campus. If you are on campus without a visitor’s badge, campus supervisors will kindly ask you to report back to the office. This is a safety measure that allows us to know who is on campus at any given time.
PLEASE REMEMBER
-
We will not interrupt a teacher’s class time for a parent phone call unless it is an emergency or on rare exception.
-
We do not deliver messages to students unless it is an emergency.
-
We stress that parents need to have a “reminder time” with their child during the walk or drive to school each day, such as “Remember, your lunch is in your backpack, and today Dad will pick you up from school AFTER chorus.”
NOTE
The telephone in the office is for student use ONLY if they do not have a lunch, or mom or dad is late picking them up, etc. Students are not permitted to use the phone to schedule play dates with friends – this is the most common request for using the phone.
